What to do if you forget your combination code?
Some locks have a patented code-finding feature that allows emergency access to authorized personnel in the event of a lost or forgotten code. The technology within the lock allows the dial to rotate and only locks into place once the correct number has been determined.
For the mechanical digital combination lock of the BARSKA CB13366 key cabinet, if you forget the combination code, you can use the key to open the door. When the door is open, turn the knob back to the closed position and remove the key. Then press and hold each rear encoder and slide the digital dial one by one until the dial cannot move. This process needs to be repeated for all 4 dials. Once the number is found, test whether the combination code is valid before closing the door.
