FAQ
How to maintain a drawer lock?
Lubricate regularly: Like any other mechanical device, a drawer lock needs lubrication to operate smoothly. You can apply a small amount of graphite powder or silicone-based lubricant to the key and insert it into the lock several times to evenly distribute the lubricant to prevent the lock from sticking or becoming difficult to open, but be careful to wipe off any excess lubricant to avoid attracting dust and debris.
Keep away from dust and debris: Dust and debris can easily accumulate inside the lock mechanism, causing the lock to malfunction or become difficult to operate. Clean the key regularly before inserting it into the lock. You can also use a compressed air dust collector to blow out any dust or debris that may have accumulated inside the lock.
Avoid overloading: One of the main reasons for drawer lock damage is overloading the drawer. Overloading puts extra stress on the lock, causing it to damage or malfunction over time. Make sure the items in the drawer are evenly distributed and avoid placing heavy objects on top of the drawer. If you find that the drawer is difficult to open and close, it may be overloaded and needs to be reorganized.
Replace worn keys: If the key is severely worn, it may cause the lock to be difficult to open or close, so it should be replaced with a new key in time.
